Makei, Turkish Ambassador to Belarus discuss topical issues of interaction
Belarus' Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei discussed with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Belarus Mustafa Ozcan current issues of Belarusian-Turkish co-operation – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the prospects for the implementation of the agreements reached during recent top-level meetings, as well as the topics of bilateral events planned to be held in the near future.
On the sidelines of the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, held a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As Natalya Eismont, the Press Secretary of the President, later reported, during the meeting, the Turkish leader invited Aleksandr Lukashenko to meet in Ankara.
