Makei had telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart

Belarus’ Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei had a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

It is noted that during the conversation, topical issues of bilateral relations were discussed. Moreover, Vladimir Makei positively assessed Türkiye’s efforts to resume the implementation of the grain deal.

Primary attention was paid to implementing the agreements reached at the top level and bilateral events planned to be held in the near future.

The parties also considered current events in the region, including the situation in Ukraine.
