Made in Belarus exposition on display at international expo in Angola

Belarusian enterprises are taking part in the FILDA international multi-sectoral exhibition, held from July 23rd-28th, 2024 in Luanda, Republic of Angola. The forum – designed for a wide range of exhibitors – is organised annually, being an important event in the economic life of South Africa.

Belarusian enterprises are opening new directions for exporting products and forming partner cases in the Angolan and regional markets, as evidenced by a wide range of goods offered within the framework of the Made in Belarus exposition, organised by the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

The first official representatives who visited Belarus’ exposition as part of the presentation show was the delegation of the Republic of Angola, headed by Minister of Industry and Trade Rui Miguens de Oliveira. Belarus’ Honorary Consul to Angola Joao Carlos Azevedo Ventura also got acquainted with Belarusian products.

“The participation of Belarusian manufacturers in the FILDA international diversified exhibition confirms business interest from our country’s business community, including in terms of trade presence in the Republic of Angola and subsequent interaction with foreign partners,” Director of BelCCI’s Belinterexpo Natalya Kurash noted.

Even before the start of the forum, the organisers paid special attention to the participation of the flagship of the Belarusian machine building, BELAZ JSC — Management Company of BELAZ-HOLDING and its sales representatives, since the equipment from the famous domestic manufacturer has been time-tested at Angola’s mining pits.

Products of representatives of the domestic food industry are one of the highlights of the Made in Belarus exposition, which offers a wide range of goods and product solutions – porridges that do not require cooking, flakes, cereals, flour, rapeseed oil — from one of Belarus’ largest producers of flour, grain, feed and fat-and-oil products.

During the FILDA exhibition, the organisers plan a series of business meetings and negotiations with foreign partners and representatives of the business community of the Republic of Angola and the region.
