Lukashenko congratulated President of Azerbaijan on his birthday

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on his birthday, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Thanks to the unconditional talent of the leader, you – as the Head of State – have managed to implement an effective model of economic development of Azerbaijan, strengthen the authority of the state in the international arena," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State congratulated the President of Azerbaijan on the successful chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement and noted that the strategic partnership between Minsk and Baku, based on respect and mutual understanding, allows achieving significant results both in the trade and economic sphere and in other areas of co-operation.

“I highly appreciate our friendship, the trust-based nature of relations between the two countries, and I am optimistic about new meetings and interesting joint projects in various fields," the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Ilham Aliyev further fruitful work for the benefit of Azerbaijan, as well as good health, peace and happiness to him and his family.
