Lukashenko visiting Parokhonsk secondary school

As part of his today’s working trip to the Brest Region, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is visiting the Parokhonsk secondary school. The Head of State has already laid a wreath at the Sorrow and Courage memorial honouring Belarusians who died during the Great Patriotic War, as well as defenders and liberators.

151 residents of the Parokhonsk Village Council died and went missing during the Great Patriotic War, and thirty-one residents of Parokhonsk itself never returned home. The memorial was solemnly unveiled on May 9th, 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
