Lukashenko told what services, methods and competencies Belarus ready to offer Bryansk Region
Belarus is ready to share its experience with the Bryansk Region in construction, water supply, revival of contaminated territories and other areas – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during today’s meeting with Governor of Russia’s Bryansk Region Aleksandr Bogomaz
As far as the construction sector is concerned, the Belarusian Head of State recalled that last year an investment project was implemented for the construction of a 16-story residential building in Bryansk, “If you are pleased with our builders’ work, we’ll continue to liaise with you in this regard. I know from conversations and negotiations with the Russian President that there are huge challenges in construction: from roads to cultural and industrial facilities, and above all, housing. We’re ready to join; it’s more profitable for us than going somewhere far away.”
Moreover, Belarusian builders boast a lot of experience working in Russia, even in the most remote regions. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, Belarus is also ready to offer its services in major repairs of housing and buildings, road construction, design and engineering surveys.
“Belarus has good specialists, high-quality machinery, equipment for the sectors of water supply, water treatment, heating, and waste processing, as well as many other promising areas,” he said.
The Belarusian leader also added that this fully concerns the Chernobyl-related problems, “The Bryansk Region, like no other Russian region, suffered from the Chernobyl disaster just like Belarus. Today we see the consequences, especially those dealing with personnel issues. You definitely feel it. We are engaged in the revival of these territories (you are aware of our programmes), creating normal living conditions for people. We have unique methods and developments. If you are interested in them, we’re ready to co-operate. We’re ready to listen to all your suggestions and, if necessary, make appropriate decisions right now.”
