Lukashenko to take part in EAEU summit in Bishkek

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will pay a working visit to Kyrgyzstan on December 8th-9th to take part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service.

The EAEU summit agenda embraces about two dozen issues. The heads of state will discuss the development of co-operation projects in industry, formation of common markets, work to eliminate obstacles and barriers in mutual trade, as well as the main directions of international activities for 2023 and other issues.

It is expected that, during the meeting, Aleksandr Lukashenko will announce the proposals of the Belarusian side on strategic directions of development of the Eurasian Economic Union, concerning further deepening of integration in the EAEU space and ensuring the sustainability of national economies.
