Lukashenko: there’re no unfriendly peoples and second-rate countries for Belarus

There are no unfriendly peoples and second-rate countries for Belarus – as noted by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko at today’s ceremony of presentation of credentials by ambassadors of foreign states

The Head of State congratulated the guests of the Independence Palace on the official inauguration of the heads of diplomatic missions in our country.

“I hope you have already had the opportunity to get acquainted with Minsk, its sights, to communicate with people and learn the history of our state. It is multifaceted and boasts many heroic pages. We are rightfully proud of it! We are proud of the glorious exploits of our ancestors and our hardworking contemporaries who continue to strengthen their beloved country and bring up a decent generation.”

The President expressed confidence that the ambassadors will soon see for themselves how hospitable and peaceful Belarusians are, “Despite the increasing threats and challenges, the doors of our house always remain open – as eloquently evidenced by the visa-free regime for citizens of 35 European countries, established this summer. There are no unfriendly peoples and second-rate countries for us. I know that Belarusians are treated with cordiality and warmth all over the world.”
