Lukashenko thanked Emergencies Ministry staff for high professionalism and courage
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent greetings to active and retired employees of emergencies bodies and divisions of the Republic of Belarus – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Today marks the 170th anniversary of Belarus’ fire service. Its history is a time of feats and selfless struggle against the dangerous elements of many generations of Belarusian firefighters – brave and noble people,” the congratulatory message reads.
According to the Belarusian leader, by multiplying the best traditions of its predecessors, the Emergencies Ministry of the Republic of Belarus effectively solves the most important tasks of protecting the life and health of citizens, preserving the country’s material and technical potential. Moreover, a system has been created and is being improved that promptly responds to all emerging threats and provides assistance to those in trouble.
The President of Belarus thanked the personnel of the emergencies department for their high professionalism, courage and readiness to fight fire at any moment. “Being at your combat post every day, you reliably protect peaceful labour and the safety of Belarusians,” the Head of State added.
“I express my deep respect to the veterans. Diligence, patriotism and devotion to the profession helped your generation create a powerful foundation in the republic for the further development of the fire and rescue service,” he stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished everyone strong health, prosperity and peace! “Take care of yourself, your loved ones and our native Belarus!” concluded the President.
