Lukashenko: State Control Committee became important link in strengthening national security, achieving Belarus’ development goals

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated active and retired employees of the State Control Committee on the 30th anniversary of the department’s establishment and the professional holiday – the Day of Employees of State Control Bodies – sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“The establishment and development of the State Control Committee are closely linked to the formation of a sovereign Belarus. For three decades, it has established itself as an authoritative institution of state control while also becoming an important link in strengthening national security and achieving priority goals of the country’s economic and legal development,” the congratulatory message reads.

“Today, your close-knit team provides independent audit in all areas, defending the interests of the state and the people. I would like to express my gratitude to the retired employees who have made a great contribution to the creation of the main control department, laying the traditions of responsible attitude to business, loyalty to the law and duty,” the President underlined.

The Head of State is convinced that the employees of the committee’s bodies will continue to serve the Fatherland with honour, reliably protecting the economic sovereignty of the state.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished everyone strong health, family warmth, peace and new achievements for the benefit of the native Belarus.
