Lukashenko sent National Day greetings to the people of Spain
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, congratulated the people of Spain on their national holiday – Spanish Nation Day – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Despite the different paths of historical development of our countries, both peoples are united by many features, including reverence for Christian values, the cult of family, the desire for creative work, patriotism and indifference to the misfortune of others,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State expressed confidence that even in today’s difficult conditions, the Spaniards and Belarusians will be able to maintain friendly ties and remain partners who respect each other and are interested in expanding constructive, mutually beneficial co-operation for a better future for their descendants.
On behalf of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the people of Spain peace, prosperity and further progress.
