Lukashenko sent greetings on 20th anniversary of BRSM formation

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent greetings to the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) on the 20th anniversary of the formation of the public association – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

“Today, uniting hundreds of thousands of young patriots of the country, the organisation makes a significant contribution to the preservation and enhancement of the best traditions of the youth movement in Belarus. It has become a launching pad for many initiatives and a real social lift for young talents,” the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko believes that the Belarusian Republican Youth Union needs to continue to actively develop student teams and volunteer programmes, to participate in the creation and implementation of projects related to the improvement of cities and villages, the preservation of the historical memory of the heroism of the people during the Great Patriotic War, involving our youth in socially useful activities.

The President of Belarus called on the BRSM members to always move forward, staying strong in the pursuit of their goals. “Love your country and boldly fight for the truth,” underlined the Belarusian leader.

The Head of State wished everyone good health and prosperity, peace and happiness, creative inspiration and success in all endeavours for the sake of the prosperity of our native Belarus.
