Lukashenko sent condolences to Syrian President over Homs attack
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, sent condolences to President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad – reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
“The Republic of Belarus condemns in the strongest terms the criminal attack in the Syrian city of Homs on October 5th, 2023, which led to numerous casualties. A senseless murder cut short the lives of young citizens, patriots of Syria, whose goals were to protect the interests of their Motherland and return it to a peaceful life,” the message of condolences reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations cannot have any justification and should not remain without a consolidated reaction from the world community.
“In this difficult moment, we mourn together with the brotherly people of the Syrian Arab Republic for the victims, sending words of support and compassion to their families and wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded,” the Belarusian leader noted.
