Lukashenko revealed information on US intentions to provoke hostilities on Belarus’ territory

During a large-scale patriotic forum – If We Are United – President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko released information about the intentions of the United States to provoke an escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict by partially transferring hostilities to the territory of Belarus

The Head of state quoted the document of the special services, “According to our special services, during the closed part of the negotiations of our fugitives in one of the countries (I don’t name it for certain reasons), US representatives voiced the following theses: from mid-September to early November, the United States expects a significant escalation of the military situation at the front from both Moscow and Kiev. I want Russians to hear this too, we haven’t brought this information to them yet.”

The President underlined that Western intelligence agencies are talking about Belarus as a possible place of escalation.

“It seems to be a lull in the battle. Yes, they [Ukrainian troops] entered the Kursk Region. They will leave. Ukrainians won’t stay there. But Americans don’t need it. It is necessary that the war continue till the last Ukrainian, or even better, till the last Russian. They need a war. They don’t need this lull at the front. They need an escalation, so they are talking about Belarus as a possible place of escalation of the situation,” Aleksandr Lukashenko clarified.

The Head of State pointed out that this is not about Belarusian Armed Forces’ joining combat operations. The President once again assured that Belarus will never do this if someone else’s boot does not set foot on our land. The escalation is planned as an alleged response from Kiev to the flights of Russian drones through the territory of Belarus.

“Up to attacks on our border infrastructure, i.e., the Americans instructed Kiev – if circumstances arise – to attack our infrastructure along the southern border,” the President stressed.

“We have agreed through channels with Ukrainians that we will not highlight in the media the facts of both Russian and Ukrainian drones flying into our territory. Why is this happening? Because both sides don’t control these drones properly. Firstly, this is all new to them. Secondly, operating electronic warfare systems knock drones off their course, and we found one of them right near Bobruisk, in the centre of Belarus. These were Ukrainian drones, not Russian ones. Although it also happens from the other side,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted openly.

The President asked a reasonable question, “We’ve agreed. Then why are the puppeteers from Washington pushing them to confront Belarus? I’m voicing this thesis at this big meeting, and they will definitely hear it. I want to ask Americans: do you want peace and peaceful talks or an escalation of the situation?”

The Head of State emphasised that it was not by chance that he was asking about this, since recently the United States has often hinted at negotiations and even formulates the terms of such talks. Minsk is not against it. But then how to understand their completely opposite behaviour?” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

“That’s their policy. I’m saying this at this solemn event so that you understand that even then [when fomenting wars of the past] it was like that. Everything repeats itself. After about a hundred years, everything repeats itself. We’ve been through it all because we live in the epicentre. We live at the crossroads of all paths. Our country is the geographical centre of Europe,” the President said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also recalled the war with Napoleon’s army, WWI and other large-scale conflicts. All of them swept across Belarus, bringing a lot of grief and destruction.

“Is history repeating itself?” the Head of State asked.

The President has honestly warned our opponents, rivals and everyone who does not yet understand the seriousness of the situation, “Don’t do that. This won’t bring benefit to the European region and the entire planet. Remember, the attack on Belarus means the launch of WWIII. Therefore, in no case should Ukrainians, Russians (they understand this perfectly well), or Americans who want to sit out overseas, do this.”
