Lukashenko presented state awards to deputies and senators
On March 18th, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 99, bestowing state awards upon deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic for fruitful state and public activities, as well as significant personal contribution to the development of legislation and parliamentarism, the Head of State’s press service reports
Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko was awarded the Order of the Fatherland, 1st degree, while Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives Aleksandr Markevich was awarded the Order of Honour.
Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Housing Policy and Construction of the House of Representatives Oksana Gaiduk, member of the Standing Commission on Ecology, Nature Management and the Chernobyl Disaster of the House of Representatives Tamara Dolgoshei, Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic, Director of Minsk’s Gymnasium No. 13 Marina Ilyina, and Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives Yelena Kolesneva received the Medal for Labour Merits.
The Medal for Labour Merits also went to Chairman of the Standing Commission on Industry, Fuel-Energy Complex, Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives Igor Komarovsky, Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Labour and Social Affairs of the House of Representatives Lyudmila Kananovich, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Igor Lapsha, Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media of the House of Representatives Valentina Razhanets, Chairperson of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic Sergei Rachkov and Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Economy, Budget and Finances of the Council of the Republic Tatiana Runets.
Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media of the House of Representatives Lilia Ananich, Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Ecology, Natural Resources and the Chernobyl Disaster of the House of Representatives Nikolai Vasilkov, Head of the Department for Laws and Interaction with the Standing Commission on State Building, Local Government and Regulations of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Tatiana Korzun, and Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Budget and Finances of the House of Representatives Lyudmila Nizhevich were awarded the Medal for Impeccable Service, 3rd degree.
The decree also awarded honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus. Thus, Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives Igor Marzalyuk was awarded the Honoured Worker of Education of Belarus title. Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Health, Physical Culture, Family and Youth Policy of the House of Representatives Lyudmila Makarina-Kibak was awarded the Honoured Doctor of Belarus title, and Chairman of the Standing Commission on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Rusy was awarded the Honoured Worker of Agriculture of Belarus title.
