Lukashenko: our duty is to ensure reliable peace on Belarusian land
Today, the Palace of Independence honours beautiful ladies, as well as people in uniform, those on whom the peace and security of our Belarus depends
Addressing the military people, Aleksandr Lukashenko said, “Today, in this hall, we traditionally honour real men – officers, generals, who are also the embodiment of the Year of Peace and Creation, because our sovereignty and independence are under their reliable protection. Put it simply, our quiet and peaceful life. In times like these, people begin to understand the true price of seemingly simple things: peace, order and tranquillity.”
The Belarusian Head of State stressed that the awards and new epaulettes being awarded recognise great personal merits to the Fatherland, confirm the level of professional training of the military and indicate high confidence of the Belarusian people, “I’m sure you are also well aware that it is our duty to ensure reliable peace on Belarusian land. We must ensure it no matter what the cost! I believe in each of you, in our army, people in uniform, all those who wear it today. Thank you for your honest work, professionalism, loyalty towards duty and patriotism.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated everyone on high awards and titles, and women on the holiday of spring, March 8th, wishing them new great successes in work and personal life, strong health, happiness and prosperity.
