President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has always been a true friend of Belarus, and he will remain such in the future – as stated by Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko at today’s ceremony of presenting credentials by foreign ambassadors, BelTA reports
Among other diplomats, the new Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belarus, Timur Zhaxylykov, has presented his credentials. Addressing the diplomat, Aleksandr Lukashenko asked to convey to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that ‘he has always been and will always be our most true friend’.
"Read and listen to unnecessary media less. Thank you very much! I hope that we will meet again and discuss our issues," the Head of State added.
As reported, at the ceremony of presenting credentials, Aleksandr Lukashenko called Kazakhstan an important, time-tested friend, strategic partner and ally. He drew attention to the fact that there are practically no areas now where the two countries do not have common interests. The high dynamics of co-operation is evidenced by the annual billion-Dollar trade turnover and successful projects in industrial interaction. The President also expressed gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for the full support provided to Belarus during Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation.
