Lukashenko on correspondence with high-ranking US official
During his speech at the 2nd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke about correspondence with an American official, BelTA reports
According to the Head of State, he recently had to correspond with a high-ranking American official via intermediaries.
“They scared us that ‘if God forbid you help Russia and enter Ukraine, if you do something there, we’ll impose sanctions on you, we’ll start a war against you’. I responded them regarding the war: you may try. As for the sanctions (this is important): ‘We are religious people’ [probably, this is a reference to the US national motto: In God We Trust]. I will not talk about the answer,” the President did not disclose the intrigue.
