Lukashenko made personnel decisions, appointing new ministers and making unexpected diplomatic reshuffles
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has considered personnel issues today, sb.by reports citing the Head of State’s press service
The Head of State has appointed:
Artur Karpovich as Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade;
Dmitry Kiyko as Minister of Taxes and Duties;
Aleksei Bogdanov as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan;
Aleksandr Ogorodnikov as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan;
Dmitry Pinevich as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Azerbaijan;
Vitaly Borchuk as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Cuba and concurrently to the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua;
Anatoly Glaz as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkiye;
Yuri Yaroshevich as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Israel.
The President has agreed to the appointment of:
Pavel Utyupin as Deputy Foreign Minister;
Aleksandr Burak as First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Standardisation;
Ivan Kislenko as Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Standardisation;
Dmitry Petrusha as Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee (overseeing construction, housing and communal services);
Aleksandr Skrundevsky as Director General of Belresursy – Managing Company of Belresursy Holding;
Igor Nazaruk as Belarus’ Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative to the to the Statutory and Other Bodies of the CIS.
