Lukashenko: EAEU needs to more actively introduce innovative approaches in agro-industrial complex
The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) needs to more actively introduce innovative approaches in its agro-industrial complex – as noted by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during today’s meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in an expanded format in Moscow
Speaking about food security within the EAEU, the Head of State noted, “In this area, I believe it’s necessary to improve the work on unifying the requirements related to the circulation of agricultural products and to more actively introduce innovative approaches in the agro-industrial complex. At the same time, it is extremely important for us to meet the EAEU’s needs for food of our own production. To achieve this, we need our farmers to have their own high-quality seeds.”
