Lukashenko does not rule out the scenario of Zelenskyy's physical elimination by Ukrainian agents
In an extended version of his interview with Rossiya TV channel (broadcast by Belarus 1 TV channel), President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke about Volodymyr Zelenskyy who may turn out to be a traitor to his country in the future, BelTA reports
"I always tell Volodya Zelenskyy, “Listen, the government there [in the United States] will change, and a new leader may say: ‘I do not know, I have not heard’ [possible changes in foreign policy priorities are meant here],” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “It has always been such, so let's build a relationship based on our interests and principles. They fail to understand. Well, it is impossible to put it into a head if someone was engaged in something different, joined the politics, but turned out to be not ready for it. Moreover, if this person also loves money… So he can be given some money and told in England: ‘This mansion is free, use this money to buy it’. He will then stay happily there with Alyona [Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s wife, Yelena, is meant] and their children.”
"Actually, he will not stay happy, but be a traitor for his people. In the end, someone like Kyrylo Budanov [Chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence at Ukraine’s Defence Ministry] will send someone to eliminate him as a traitor. That's all. Such a possibility should not be excluded. It's a problem,” the President of Belarus added.
