Lukashenko discussed preparations for elections and personnel issues with Sergeyenko
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has been reported today by Head of Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko, BelTA reports

The main topics discussed during the report were preparations for the upcoming elections of deputies and personnel issues.
“How are things going on with the election process?” the President asked, clarifying whether any participation on his part was needed. “Perhaps there are some shortcomings, requests, etc.?”
The Head of State also inquired about the situation with personnel, “We have several vacancies. I just spoke with Khodzhaev [Aleksandr Khodzhaev, newly-appointed Healthcare Minister]. I think he will be a good minister.” Aleksandr Lukashenko said that he signed the corresponding decree on the appointment and instructed to present the new head to the Healthcare Ministry staff on January 26th. “For the Prime Minister to present it and set the tasks that should be assigned to the ministry,” the President explained.
