Lukashenko: cow deserves a monument
During today’s working trip to the Pinsk District, Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko suggested erecting a monument to a cow in Belarus as a sign of appreciation for the contribution of this animal to ensuring people with food, especially during the difficult war and post-war years
The President, in particular, noted that ‘partisans and children survived’ during the Great Patriotic War thanks to cows, “After the war, we survived thanks to cows, who are also feeding us now.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko also spoke about a cow at his homestead, which was given to him not so long ago from the Brest Region and which gave 59 litres of milk per day. As a result, it was even decided to adjust the animal’s diet, give less compound feed, and the yield decreased to 45 litres.
