Lukashenko congratulates Vitebsk Region on one million tonnes of grain
The President of Belarus received with a report Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Aleksandr Subbotin. First of all, the Head of State discussed with the Governor the course of the harvesting campaign. Aleksandr Subbotin did not come to the Independence Palace empty-handed; he brought a loaf, symbolising the milling of a million tonnes of grain in the region. Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Aleksandr Subbotin and all Vitebsk Region residents on this result.
“This is good news. I would like to congratulate the Vitebsk Region residents on this achievement. As I understand, there will be more than a million, because there is still something to harvest although little?”
“Ten percent remained,” Aleksandr Subbotin explained.
“If the calculation is made relying on the past experience, it is at least a hundred thousand,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted. “If it is a million one hundred, then this is already a good result.”
