Lukashenko congratulates South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on his 70th birthday
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has extended birthday greetings to President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Speaking from a young age against injustice and the oppression of the weak, you are a worthy successor to Nelson Mandela,” the congratulatory message reads. “Today, thanks to the talent of a leader and rich experience as a statesman, you are making an invaluable contribution to the development of the Republic of South Africa.”
The Head of State confirmed Minsk’s interest in expanding political, trade-economic and humanitarian co-operation with Pretoria, based on the principles of mutual trust and equality.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Cyril Ramaphosa strong health, longevity and new successes in responsible activities for the benefit of the country and people.
