Lukashenko congratulated Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election as Sri Lanka President

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election as President of Sri Lanka, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“I hope that with your support we will be able to more fully unleash the potential of bilateral co-operation in trade-economic, educational, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State suggested updating plans for interaction in machine building, agriculture, chemical industry, tourism and education at the government level in the near future.

“Belarus boasts significant experience in producing a wide range of goods and services that can meet the needs of the Sri Lankan side,” the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Anura Kumara Dissanayaka success in his responsible government post and the implementation of all planned initiatives aimed at the development of Sri Lanka.
