Lukashenko congratulated Sultan Ibrahim on his assumption of office as Supreme Ruler of Malaysia

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated Sultan Ibrahim on taking office as Supreme Ruler of Malaysia – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

“I’m convinced that constructive and mutually beneficial co-operation between Minsk and Kuala Lumpur in political, trade-economic and other sectors will continue to gradually develop, thus strengthening the relations of friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of our countries,” the congratulatory message reads.

The President expressed hope for intensifying Belarusian-Malaysian contacts at different levels and searching for new areas for further joint work.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sultan Ibrahim strong health, happiness and success in his responsible government position.
