Lukashenko congratulated President of Nicaragua on 45th anniversary of victory of Sandinista Revolution
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Nicaraguan President Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra on the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Due to the courageous and selfless activities of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, the people of Nicaragua managed to maintain their independence and sovereignty,” the congratulatory message reads.
According to the Head of State, the presence of a representative government delegation led by Belarus’ Prime Minister at the ceremonial events in Nicaragua is evidence that great importance is attached to the development of relations with this state.
The President noted the dynamic expansion of bilateral co-operation in both the political and trade-economic spheres. “I hope that the gradual rapprochement between Minsk and Managua will soon begin to produce tangible results and will have a positive impact on the level of well-being of our citizens,” the Belarusian leader stated.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra and his family strong health and happiness, and peace and progress to the brotherly Nicaraguan people.
