Lukashenko congratulated Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus on Easter

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent congratulations to Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus on Easter, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"The joy of Easter inspires us to create peace and goodness, fills our hearts with love. The fate and history of our country are inextricably linked with Orthodoxy, which has become an integral part of the national identity and cultural heritage of Belarus,” the congratulatory message reads. “Your wisdom and mentoring give strength to those in need of consolation, and heal people's souls. By preaching God's word, you make an invaluable contribution to the development of our society, and you are committed to preserving traditional values and moral ideals."

The Head of State wished the Patriarchal Exarch good health, happiness and success in all his endeavours.

"May the Lord send down an inexhaustible source of energy and gracious help in your archpastoral ministry," the Belarusian leader added.
