Lukashenko congratulated Maduro on his victory in Venezuelan presidential election
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Nicolas Maduro on his re-election as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“In this way, the people of your country supported the course of building a modern and independent state in which the nation can independently determine their fate. In very difficult conditions, the Venezuelan government has managed to achieve a progressive economic recovery and an increase in the standard of living of ordinary citizens. The firm position of the official Caracas can be clearly heard on all international platforms,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State expressed his conviction that under the leadership of Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela will continue to confidently step towards strengthening its sovereignty and developing competencies in numerous areas.
“Minsk is ready to take an active part in this, which was confirmed during the recent visit of Belarus’ Prime Minister to Caracas. I hope that by the end of the year we will be able to meet with you and discuss in detail the status of implementation of our agreements,” the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Nicolas Maduro excellent health and inexhaustible energy for the implementation of all plans to build a strong and prosperous Venezuela.
