Lukashenko congratulated industry workers on Machine Builder’s Day and Industry Ministry on 30th anniversary
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired employees of the Industry Ministry and Belarus’ machine building complex on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Industry Ministry and a professional holiday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Since its creation, the Belarusian Industry Ministry has been entrusted with a responsible mission to preserve the powerful Soviet industrial heritage and form new priority areas of high-tech industries – necessary to meet the domestic needs of the young sovereign Belarus and export development,” the Head of State underlined.
Aleksandr Lukashenko added that the Industry Ministry now unites dozens of enterprises that are the largest employers in their regions, have the status of system- and city-forming enterprises and, most importantly, form the basis of our open economy.
“Today, the industrial department faces large-scale tasks aimed at strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty and import independence, building up opportunities on the external circuit, and searching for new logistics routes and markets,” the Belarusian leader emphasised.
“I am convinced that professionalism, dedication and constant pursuit of success will help you achieve all your goals,” the President asserted.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished all workers of the industrial sector strong health and well-being.
