Lukashenko congratulated Indian PM Modi on well-deserved victory in parliamentary elections
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his well-deserved victory in the parliamentary elections, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
"You passed the election race with dignity, ensured the continuity of power and conditions for further economic and social development of India, strengthening its authority in the international arena," the message of congratulations reads.
The President expressed hope that the Belarusian-Indian relations will continue to deepen in a friendly and mutually beneficial manner. "Minsk is determined to bring the bilateral dialogue to the level of strategic partnership," the Head of State stressed. “The roadmap for the development of key areas of co-operation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of India for 2024-2026 will be a good basis for our work to achieve this goal. I hope that the document will be signed in the near future."
The Belarusian leader confirmed the country's readiness for fruitful joint work in international organisations. He also renewed the invitation to the Prime Minister of India to visit Belarus at a convenient time.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Narendra Modi the fulfilment of all state tasks, good health, happiness, and well-being.
