Lukashenko congratulated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Revolution Day

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on the national holiday – Revolution Day – sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State noted that Belarus highly appreciates Egypt’s efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East and Africa.

“Egypt is making a significant contribution to the implementation of sustainable development projects, ensuring regional food and energy security,” the congratulatory message reads.

The President expressed confidence that further joint activities of the two countries’ governments will transform the existing potential into the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in the fields of industrial co-operation, agriculture, sci-tech and cultural liaisons.

The Head of State confirmed his invitation to the President of Egypt to pay an official visit to Belarus at a convenient time for him to continue a fruitful dialogue and discuss promising areas of interaction.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah al-Sisi excellent health, success and prosperity, and well-being and progress to the Egyptian people.
