Lukashenko congratulated Cyril Ramaphosa on re-election as South African President
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Cyril Ramaphosa on his re-election as President of the Republic of South Africa, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“The wise decision to unite the forces of South Africa’s largest political parties to form the National Unity Government will contribute to the unity of the country’s people in the face of modern global challenges,” the congratulatory message reads. “The Republic of South Africa has a reliable friend in the Non-Aligned Movement from Eastern Europe — Belarus. We are also actively involved in the process of expanding the BRICS integration association.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the complementarity of the economies of Belarus and South Africa is an important factor for the implementation of potentially successful projects in the areas of food and energy security, technology transfer and the creation of new industrial facilities in South Africa.
“I’m convinced in the importance of discussing specific topics on the Belarusian-South African agenda during our personal meeting in Minsk,” the Belarusian leader noted.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Cyril Ramaphosa strong health, longevity and success.
