Lukashenko congratulated CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev on his birthday

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev on his birthday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“You have been effectively heading the largest integration association in the post-Soviet space for many years,” noted the Head of State. “Your ability to work with full dedication, organisational talent, and focus on the final result contributed to the achievement of the main goal of the Commonwealth of Independent States: preserving the best traditions of friendship, trust and good neighbourliness between nations.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his conviction that Sergei Lebedev’s knowledge, wisdom and experience in solving important tasks will enable him to continue to find and successfully implement new forms of co-operation while serving to strengthen mutually beneficial partnerships within the CIS.
