Lukashenko congratulated Aliyev and people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and all Azerbaijanis on Independence Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Your country is celebrating its main holiday with impressive results of economic development and successes in the international arena, achieved thanks to your policy of building an independent, sovereign state," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed in his congratulatory message.

"I warmly recall my recent visit to friendly Azerbaijan, during which we discussed a wide range of important issues in a confidential and constructive manner," the Head of State noted. "The results of the meaningful negotiations confirmed a high level of strategic partnership and demonstrated a significant potential for multifaceted co-operation between Minsk and Baku."

The President of Belarus wished Ilham Aliyev and his family good health, happiness and well-being, also wishing peace and prosperity to the fraternal Azerbaijani people.
