Lukashenko commented on questions often raised in the West regarding Ukraine
The West is trying to bring Belarus and Russia to their knees, but this only leads to the opposite effect – as stated today by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during the 52nd meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services in Minsk
The Head of State noted, “A revolution is already unfolding there, with people asking why do they give such money to Ukraine to kill people, while they themselves begin to live worse. And this trend is not just beginning, it will soon reach its peak. Today, the West and the Americans want some kind of pause in Ukraine, so that the shooting there stop. Why? To hold elections, first of all, in the United States of America. Let them sit down at the negotiating table, and it is necessary to negotiate in order to stop the war rather than looking for some loopholes to calm down for a while, and then to start again. We’ve been through this many times already. We won’t fall for this.”
