Lukashenko: bright Easter holiday brings warmth to human hearts and souls

The bright Easter holiday brings warmth to the hearts and souls of our people – as stated today by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during his visit to St. Elijah Church in Orsha

First of all, the Head of State addressed the clergy on behalf of himself and the parishioners, “Thank you very much for what you are doing in our country. Especially these small churches and temples – located not in Belarus’ centre, but far away from Minsk – make our people real and sincere Belarusians.”

The President noted that today is a very bright and, as always, long-awaited holiday, “We have always been waiting for it. If I were asked which holidays – both secular and spiritual – are in the first place, I would call Easter. This spring holiday is very bright. It is always warm after Easter, and it also brings warmth to the hearts and souls of our people. Therefore, I want to congratulate you on this great holiday and wish you strong health. Christ is Risen!”
