Lukashenko: Belarus, Vietnam creating solid, reliable basis for expanding bilateral co-operation

On behalf of his compatriots and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Secretary General of Vietnam’s Communist Party Central Committee, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam on Independence Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“The peoples of Belarus and Vietnam remember how much our ancestors have paid for the present and future generations to live on their land: free and safe,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State stressed that in today’s difficult conditions, solidarity, support and trust between countries are more necessary than ever to protect and preserve national identity, national sovereignty and independence, while effectively responding to external challenges.

“Minsk and Hanoi demonstrate exactly this approach to the development of political dialogue, which creates a solid, reliable basis for the successful expansion of bilateral co-operation across all areas,” the President stated.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished To Lam and his family excellent health and longevity, and peace and unity to the people of Vietnam.
