“Our peoples have maintained friendly relations since the difficult struggle for sovereignty and the proclamation of independence by your country in 1975,” the Head of State noted. “We’re pleased to see Mozambique’s successes in socio-economic development, which create opportunities for more active co-operation with Belarus in trade, scientific and industrial interaction, agricultural mechanisation, food security, education, logistics, etc.”
“We’re keen to expand contacts with Maputo at the top and high levels. I confirm the invitation sent to your Excellency to pay a visit to Minsk, during which I propose to discuss in detail the prospects for bilateral co-operation with a focus on developing practice-oriented projects for the benefit of both the people of Mozambique and residents of other countries of the South African region,” the President of Belarus underlined.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the President of Mozambique strong health and happiness, as well as peace, prosperity and further progress to all Mozambicans.
