Lukashenko awarded 40 people for their contribution to BelNPP construction
Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree and an executive order to bestow orders, medals and Gratitude from the President of the Republic of Belarus upon 40 people for their fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant contribution to the implementation of the investment project for the construction of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant (BelNPP) – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation (2018-2022) Vladimir Semashko was awarded the Order of the Fatherland, 2nd degree.
Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich was awarded the Order of the Fatherland, 3rd degree.
The Order of Labour Glory recognises the merits of Mikhail Filimonov, the Aide for Interaction with Belenergo, the Energy Ministry, and Other State Bodies to the Director General of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant.
Orders of Honour were bestowed upon First Deputy Director General – Chief Engineer of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant Anatoly Bondar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Boris Gryzlov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of Russia’s Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko, and Rosatom Director General Aleksei Likhachev.
The same award recognised the merits of Rosatom First Deputy Director General for New Products Aleksandr Lokshin, Vice President – Director of the Paks II NPP Construction Project at Atomstroyexport JSC Vitaly Polyanin, and Rosatom First Deputy Director General for Nuclear Energy – President of Atomstroyexport JSC Andrei Petrov.
Medals for Labour Merits went to 20 people, including Director General of Belelektromontazhnaladka JSC Sergei Alekhnovich, Director General of Belenergo State Production Association Pavel Drozd, Head of the Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety at the Emergencies Ministry Olga Lugovskaya, and Director General of Belenergostroy – Holding Management Company Andrei Reut.
Ten pprofessionals received the President’s Gratitude, including Deputy Emergencies Minister Anatoly Dolgolevets, First Vice President for Construction at Atomstroyexport JSC Aleksei Zhukov, and Director General of the Sosny Joint Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research at Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences Andrei Kuzmin.
