Lukashenko attending Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is present at the parade in honour of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which is being held on Red Square in Moscow, BelTA reports
The leaders of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba, Laos, and Guinea-Bissau are also present at the parade. Russian President Vladimir Putin has addressed the participants and guests.
More than 9 thousand people, over 70 units of military equipment, as well as aviation are participating in the parade on Red Square.
It is planned that, after the parade, the leaders will lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden at the Kremlin Wall.
Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Moscow on a working visit the day before. On May 8th, the President took part in the anniversary summit of the Eurasian Economic Union in the Kremlin.
