The bright winter performance crowns the marathon of kindness that has been marching across the country for almost thirty years under the patronage of the Head of State. It is another very warm and sincere family tradition: to surround boys and girls with special care and attention on the New Year and Christmas days, to create a miraculous atmosphere and fulfil their desires.
The Main Christmas Tree has brough together more than 2,300 children from all Belarusian regions. Among them are the winners of Olympiads, creative contests and sports competitions, boys and girls from large families, orphanages and boarding schools, as well as students of cadet schools. The children from Latvia, students of the Riga Belarusian school, have also been invited to the Formula of the New Year fabulous show.
Aleksandr Lukashenko warmly congratulated children and adults on the upcoming New Year celebrations, “Coming to you today for this holiday, I have long understood that I will face the most difficult audience. The people here are very different, and this refers to their age and position. Among you there are government members, ministers, and ordinary schoolchildren who have just started studying in our schools. However, we are all united today with our beloved big holiday: New Year.”
