President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed new ambassadors to Angola, Zambia, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka today
Igor Marshalov, who previously headed the diplomatic mission in Zimbabwe, has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Angola and the Republic of Zambia concurrently.
Former Ambassador to India Mikhail Kasko has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka concurrently.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Indonesia and concurrently to Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, Roman Romanovsky, has been appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The President has also agreed to the appointment of Viktor Podskrebkin as Head of the Department of Economy and Sectoral Programmes of the Standing Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State.
