Lukashenko: all the best in our life start with love for our family, small homeland and Fatherland
Patriotism and spirituality are inseparable concepts, and all the best in our life begin with love for our relatives and friends, our small homeland, and our Fatherland – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, at today’s ceremony of presenting the Spiritual Revival awards, special prizes to art luminaries and the Belarusian Sports Olympus awards
The Head of State noted, “With a sense of pride and confidence in our future, we look at the successors of the generation of winners, patriots with shoulder straps on.”
Among the laureates of the Spiritual Revival awards are the soldiers of the honour guard company and the orchestra of the Minsk Military Commandant's Office, as well as the Polotsk Cadet School where the Hero of Belarus, pilot Nikita Kukonenko who is our contemporary, studied.
The President emphasised, “We know, remember and honour our heroes of the past and present. These are people with a pure heart, sincere love for their native land and their people. We see the strength of the Belarusians' spirit in them. Patriotism and spirituality are inseparable concepts, and all the best in our life start with love for our relatives and friends, our small homeland, and our Fatherland. This is what inspires us to serve truly noble goals. Each award list of today's laureates represents the history of our whole life, the history of even the country.”
Addressing the laureates, the Head of State stressed that all of them, as well as those present at the Palace of Independence, form the image of the future of Belarus: preserving its cultural heritage, reviving ancient traditions of folk art and creativity in festivals and holidays, giving new life to masterpieces of high art, welcoming the first babies born, educating the younger generation on the primordial spiritual principles values, showing mercy and taking part in the fate of compatriots in need of special care, rising on the sports Olympus to glory the Motherland, helping trainees to conquer this peak, covering the victories of Belarusian athletes in the media.
