Locomotive drivers to go on strike on February 1st and 3rd in the UK with a demand to increase wages against the background of high inflation in the country, Sky News reports
It is informed that the Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen has rejected the employer's offer of a salary increase, as it considered it insufficient. As a result, employees of fifteen railway companies will go on strikes again.
In the UK, inflation has reached a record level in almost 40 years. Therefore, teachers, doctors, railway workers, border control officers, postmen, bus drivers, driving examiners and representatives of a number of other professions repeatedly hold strikes demanding to raise salaries in accordance with the inflation level.
