Loan to be allocated to Belarus for import substituting projects

As reported by the Belarusian Government’s press service, an intergovernmental agreement on allocation of a loan to Belarus for import substituting projects has been signed

An intergovernmental agreement envisaging the allocation of a loan to Belarus in the amount of 105bn Russian Roubles for import substituting projects has been signed by Belarusian and Russian finance ministers.

“Within the framework of the agreement, import substituting co-operative projects will be implemented on the territory of the Republic of Belarus,” the source said. By now, the both sides have already confirmed their readiness to start financing twelve projects.
