Bilateral talks were held between Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Linevich, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources of Oman Saud Al Habsi, and the leadership of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
As reported by the Belarusian ministry, Oman shows great interest in buying Belarusian food products. At the moment, deliveries are already underway, but the Sultanate is interested in significantly expanding the range of imported products and increasing volumes. The supply of veterinary drugs is also a point for discussion.
"Belarusian dairy products are in demand on the Omani market. Exports increased 3.6 times in 10 months of this year compared to the same period last year," Mr. Linevich informed. “New products have been added today to the list of supplied food, and we will work over them. Our future plans concentrate on the implementation of the product processing projects in Oman."
The Belarusian side invited the Omani delegation to visit the republic to participate in national exhibitions.
