Lavrov: US wants to disable TurkStream
The United States gives the go-ahead to carry out terrorist attacks against the energy infrastructure, and there are plans to disable TurkStream – as stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a press conference on the results of Russian diplomacy in 2024, TASS reports
According to Mr. Lavrov, the United States does not need competitors in any field. It gives the go-ahead to terrorist attacks that destroy the foundations of the energy well-being of the European Union, where it incites Ukraine to disable TurkStream as well.
The rejection of fair competition and the use of unfair, aggressive methods of suppressing competitors is manifested in the sanctions policy that the United States and its allies have made ‘the basis of their actions in the international arena’ against Russia, China and other countries.
"Meanwhile, the field of sports is a continuous epic of turning honest competitions into serving the interests of a country that has declared itself the winner in everything," the Russian Foreign Minister summed up.
