Launch of Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket to ISS, with Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya on board, automatically cancelled
The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket, which was supposed to bring the Soyuz MS-25 manned spacecraft into orbit, has been cancelled automatically, TASS reports
Information about the flight cancellation follows from the Roscosmos broadcast.
“The launch was automatically cancelled,” the announcer said.
Later, TASS – citing a source in the space industry – added that the Soyuz MS-25 crew was evacuated from the spacecraft, all are well.
was supposed to launch from the 31st site of the Baikonur Cosmodrome on March 21st at 16:21. The spaceship was scheduled to dock with the Prichal module at 19:35. On board were Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, space flight participant from Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya, and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson.
